Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Begin by searing your beef chuck roast in a hot skillet over medium-high heat for about 4-5 minutes on each side until browned.
  2. Take your Yukon Gold potatoes and chop them into quarters, layering them at the bottom of your slow cooker.
  3. Place the seared beef chunks directly on top of the potatoes, then melt the butter and mix in the minced garlic. Pour over the beef and potatoes.
