- Pat the steak dry and season both sides with Cajun seasoning, salt, and pepper. Let rest at room temperature for 15-20 minutes.
- Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat, add olive oil. Sear the steak for 3-4 minutes on each side until caramelized.
- Add butter and garlic in the final minute, basting the steak for added flavor.
- Remove the steak, let it rest for 5 minutes, then slice against the grain.
- In a pot, boil salted water and cook fettuccine until al dente, reserving ½ cup of pasta water.
- In the same skillet, melt butter, add garlic, then cream, simmer for 2-3 minutes, and mix in Parmesan.
- Add fettuccine to the sauce, tossing to coat. Use reserved pasta water if necessary.
- Serve the fettuccine with sliced steak on top, garnished with parsley and Parmesan.
