- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9 x 13 inch baking pan.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the Devil's food cake mix and the instant chocolate pudding.
- Add in the four large eggs, sour cream, vegetable oil, and warm water. Mix on medium speed for about 2 minutes.
- Gently fold in the semi-sweet chocolate chips using a spatula.
- Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan and smooth the top.
- Bake for 30 to 40 minutes until a toothpick inserted comes out clean or with a few moist crumbs.
- Let the cake cool in the pan for about 15 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
