Step-by-Step Instructions

  2. Cream together the softened butter and sugar until light and fluffy, then mix in sour cream, egg, and mashed ripe bananas until smooth.
  3. Sift together flour, baking soda, and salt, then gradually add to the wet mixture until just combined. Spread into the lined dish.
  4. Bake for 20 to 25 minutes until golden brown and a toothpick comes out clean. Cool for about 10 minutes before lifting out.
  5. Melt butter in a saucepan over medium heat until browned, about 5-7 minutes. Be careful not to burn.
  6. In a mixing bowl, whisk together browned butter, powdered sugar, and vanilla until smooth. Add milk to adjust consistency.
