Preparation Steps
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with aluminum foil for easy cleanup.
- Fill a shallow baking dish with water and place it on the bottom shelf of the oven.
- In a skillet, heat vegetable oil over medium heat and sauté chopped red onions until softened, about 5 minutes. Add minced garlic and cook for 1 minute until fragrant, then cool slightly.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine fresh bread crumbs, lightly beaten eggs, Worcestershire sauce, and beef broth. Let sit for about 5 minutes.
- Gently add ground beef and cooled onion-garlic mixture to the bread mixture. Combine without overmixing.
- Shape the meatloaf mixture into a loaf and transfer it to the prepared baking sheet.
- Pour half of the brown sugar ketchup glaze over the top and spread evenly.
- Bake for 45-60 minutes or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
- Drizzle the remaining glaze over the meatloaf and let it rest for 10-15 minutes before slicing.

Notes
For the best results, choose 80% fat ground beef and do not overmix to avoid a dense texture.
