Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Start by taking your boneless skinless chicken thighs out of the refrigerator, letting them sit at room temperature for about 20 minutes.
  2. Generously sprinkle kosher salt over both sides of the chicken thighs, and follow with black pepper, garlic powder, smoked paprika, and onion powder. Rub the seasonings into the meat.
  3. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and position the oven rack in the center.
  4. Take a baking sheet and brush it with 1 tablespoon of olive oil.
  5. Carefully place the seasoned chicken thighs on the oiled baking sheet, and drizzle any remaining olive oil over the tops.
  6. Slide the baking sheet into the preheated oven and bake the chicken thighs for 18 minutes, then flip and continue baking for another 14 minutes.
  7. Remove from the oven and tent with aluminum foil. Allow to rest for about 3 minutes.
