  • 1 cup Milk (dairy or non-dairy) almond or oat milk works beautifully
  • 1 large Egg can substitute with a flax egg for vegan option
  • 1 teaspoon Ground Cinnamon or nutmeg for variation
  • 2 teaspoons Baking Powder do not double
  • 0.5 teaspoon Salt optional
For Sweetness
  • 0.25 cup Maple Syrup or Honey adjust based on taste
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract optional but recommended
For the Topping (optional)
  • 0.5 cup Chopped Walnuts or Pecans optional
  • 0.5 cup Chocolate Chips optional

Method
 

Basic Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and lightly grease an 8x8-inch baking dish.
  2. Mash the ripe bananas until smooth in a large mixing bowl.
  3. Whisk in the milk, maple syrup or honey, egg, and vanilla extract to the mashed bananas until well combined.
  4. Add rolled oats, ground cinnamon, baking powder, and salt into the wet mixture and stir until fully incorporated.
  5. Pour the mixture into your prepared baking dish and add optional toppings.
  6. Bake for about 35 minutes until the top is set and golden brown.
  7. Allow to cool for a few minutes before serving warm.
