- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare your 9x5 loaf pan by lining it with parchment paper.
- In a medium bowl, combine all-purpose flour, baking soda, baking powder, and a pinch of salt.
- In a large mixing bowl, beat together softened unsalted butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add in the egg yolk and vanilla extract to the creamed butter and sugar mixture; mix until smooth and well combined.
