Step-by-Step Instructions for Instant Pot Spaghetti
  1. Set your Instant Pot to sauté mode and pour in 2 tablespoons of olive oil. Allow it to heat for a minute before adding 1 pound of ground beef. Cook for about 5 minutes until browned. Season with kosher salt, onion powder, and garlic powder.
  2. Pour in ½ cup of water to deglaze the pot, scraping browned bits from the bottom. Stir in 24 ounces of marinara sauce until well blended.
  3. Break 8 ounces of dry spaghetti in half and layer it evenly over the sauce. Do not stir.
  4. Pour 1.5 cups of water into the empty sauce jar, shake, then pour over the spaghetti.
  5. Seal the Instant Pot lid tightly and cook on high pressure for 8 minutes.
  6. After cooking, perform a quick release of pressure. Open the lid slowly.
  7. Gently stir the spaghetti into the sauce and serve with grated Parmesan cheese on top.
