Step-by-Step Instructions for Mount Doom Cake
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease three 8-inch cake pans with parchment paper.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the dry ingredients: flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
  3. Add eggs, milk, vegetable oil, and vanilla to the dry ingredients and beat until smooth.
  4. Carefully stir in boiling water to the batter until fully incorporated.
