Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the Italian sausage or ground beef for about 7-10 minutes until browned. Drain excess fat.
  3. Add the spaghetti sauce and tomato sauce to the meat. Stir in the Italian seasoning and simmer for about 5 minutes.
  4. In a bowl, combine cottage cheese, cream cheese, sour cream, beaten egg, and dried parsley. Mix until smooth.
  5. In a baking dish, layer meat sauce, lasagna noodles, cheese mixture, mozzarella cheese, and repeat. Finish with meat sauce on top.
  6. Sprinkle parmesan cheese on top, cover with foil, and bake for 55 minutes. Remove foil and bake for an additional 10 minutes.
  7. Let the lasagna cool for about 15 minutes before slicing and serving warm.
