  • 10 oz Diced Tomatoes with Green Chilies undrained
  • 6 oz Tomato Paste
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire Sauce
  • 1 tsp Garlic Powder
  • 1 tsp Onion Powder
  • 1 tsp Ground Oregano
  • 1 tsp Red Pepper Flakes optional
  • 12 oz Egg Noodles
  • 1 cup Sour Cream
  • 1 cup Cottage Cheese small curd
  • 2 cups Shredded Cheddar Cheese
  • ¼ cup Sliced Green Onions optional for garnish

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).

  2. In a large skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef for 5-7 minutes; drain excess fat.

  3. Add diced tomatoes, diced tomatoes with green chilies, tomato paste, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, oregano, and red pepper flakes to the beef. Simmer for 5 minutes.

  4. Cook egg noodles in a pot of salted boiling water until al dente, about 6-8 minutes; drain.

  5. In a mixing bowl, combine sour cream and cottage cheese. Stir until smooth.

  6. In a greased 9x13 inch baking dish, layer half the cooked egg noodles, then the creamy mixture.
