Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (177°C) and line a 9x9-inch baking pan with parchment paper.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, mash 1½ cups of ripe bananas until smooth. Add ½ cup of nut butter, 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract, and 3 tablespoons of maple syrup. Mix well.
  3. Add 2 cups of rolled oats, 1 teaspoon of cinnamon, and ½ teaspoon of salt to the wet mixture. Fold until just combined.
  4. Fold in 1 cup of chocolate chips evenly throughout the batter.
  5. Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan, spreading evenly and pressing down slightly.
  6. Bake for 18-20 minutes, checking for golden edges and a firm center.
  7. Let the bars cool completely on a wire rack before slicing them into bars.
