Method
 

Baking Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare two 9-inch round cake pans by greasing them.
  2. Whisk together the cake flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt in a mixing bowl until evenly blended.
  3. Beat the softened unsalted butter and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
  4. Add the eggs one at a time, then mix in the milk, vegetable oil, orange juice, orange zest, and extracts.
  5. Fold the dry ingredients into the wet mixture until just combined.
  6. Pour the batter evenly into the prepared pans and bake for 28-30 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean.
  7. Cool in pans for 10 minutes, then transfer to wire racks to cool completely.
  8. Beat together cream cheese and butter until smooth for the frosting. Add extracts and powdered sugar to taste.
  9. Assemble the cake by spreading frosting between layers and on top and sides.
