Equipment

  • Food processor
  • Mixing bowl
  • Rolling Pin
  • Spatula
  • Parchment paper
  • Aluminum foil

Method

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Crush the Oreos by placing them in a food processor and pulse until fine crumbs form. Alternatively, crush them in a sealed plastic bag with a rolling pin.
  2. Mix crushed Oreos, softened cream cheese, and vanilla extract in a large bowl until well incorporated, resembling wet sand.
  3. Roll the mixture out between two sheets of parchment paper into a rectangle of approximately 10x14 inches.
  4. Spread the Halloween-colored frosting evenly over the Oreo rectangle, leaving a 1-inch border around the edges free of frosting.
  5. From one of the short edges, lift the parchment paper and roll the mixture tightly to form a roll.
  6. Seal the edges and wrap the roll in parchment and aluminum foil. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour or freeze for 20 minutes.
  7. Once chilled, unwrap and slice the roll into 1-inch rounds using a warm serrated knife.
  8. Decorate the sliced rolls with optional sprinkles, candy eyes, or chocolate drizzle for added flair.
