Cooking Steps
- Slice 2 lbs of flank or sirloin steak thin against the grain and place in the crock pot.
- Layer in the sliced green, red, and yellow bell peppers, along with the sliced yellow onion, minced garlic, and ground ginger.
- Pour in the low sodium soy sauce, beef broth, and add brown sugar; stir gently to combine.
- Cover and cook on LOW for 6-7 hours or HIGH for 3-4 hours.
- In the final 30 minutes, mix 2 tbsp cornstarch with 2 tbsp water and stir into the crock pot to thicken the sauce.
- Once cooking is complete, serve over rice or noodles, garnishing as desired.
