  • 2 lbs Flank or Sirloin Steak Sliced thin against the grain.
For the Veggies
  • 1 Green Bell Pepper Sliced.
  • 1 Red Bell Pepper Sliced.
  • 1 Yellow Bell Pepper Sliced.
  • 1 Yellow Onion Sliced.
For the Sauce
  • 1/3 cup Low Sodium Soy Sauce Coconut aminos can be used as an alternative.
  • 1 tbsp Minced Garlic Fresh is best.
  • 1 tsp Ground Ginger Freshly grated ginger elevates the taste.
  • 1 tbsp Brown Sugar Honey works beautifully as a substitute.
  • 1 cup Beef Broth Vegetable broth can be used as a lighter substitute.
For Thickening
  • 2 tbsp Cornstarch Mixed with 2 tbsp of water.

Cooking Steps
  1. Slice 2 lbs of flank or sirloin steak thin against the grain and place in the crock pot.
  2. Layer in the sliced green, red, and yellow bell peppers, along with the sliced yellow onion, minced garlic, and ground ginger.
  3. Pour in the low sodium soy sauce, beef broth, and add brown sugar; stir gently to combine.
  4. Cover and cook on LOW for 6-7 hours or HIGH for 3-4 hours.
  5. In the final 30 minutes, mix 2 tbsp cornstarch with 2 tbsp water and stir into the crock pot to thicken the sauce.
  6. Once cooking is complete, serve over rice or noodles, garnishing as desired.
