Method

Cooking Instructions
  1. In a medium skillet, heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil over medium-high heat. Once shimmering, add 1 diced small onion and 2 minced garlic cloves, sautéing for 2-3 minutes until translucent and fragrant.
  2. Add 1 pound of ground beef to the skillet, cooking for 5-7 minutes until fully browned. Break meat into small pieces for even cooking.
  3. Once browned, stir in 1 tablespoon of Worcestershire sauce, 2 tablespoons of ketchup, 1 teaspoon garlic powder, 1 teaspoon onion powder, and 1 teaspoon smoked paprika. Season with salt and pepper, mix thoroughly, and cook for an additional minute before removing from heat.
  4. Allow the beef mixture to cool for about 5 minutes. Then fold in 1 cup of shredded cheddar cheese until evenly distributed.
  5. On a clean surface, lay out one egg roll wrapper with a corner facing you. Moisten edges with water. Place a spoonful of the cheeseburger filling in the center.
  6. Fold the bottom corner over the filling, tucking it in gently. Fold in the sides, then roll tightly away from you. Seal edges with water to prevent leaking.
  7. Heat oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Carefully add the eggrolls and fry for 2-3 minutes on each side until golden brown and crispy.
  8. Remove fried eggrolls and place on a plate lined with paper towels. Allow to cool for a couple of minutes before serving.
