Cooking Instructions
- In a medium skillet, heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil over medium-high heat. Once shimmering, add 1 diced small onion and 2 minced garlic cloves, sautéing for 2-3 minutes until translucent and fragrant.
- Add 1 pound of ground beef to the skillet, cooking for 5-7 minutes until fully browned. Break meat into small pieces for even cooking.
- Once browned, stir in 1 tablespoon of Worcestershire sauce, 2 tablespoons of ketchup, 1 teaspoon garlic powder, 1 teaspoon onion powder, and 1 teaspoon smoked paprika. Season with salt and pepper, mix thoroughly, and cook for an additional minute before removing from heat.
- Allow the beef mixture to cool for about 5 minutes. Then fold in 1 cup of shredded cheddar cheese until evenly distributed.
- On a clean surface, lay out one egg roll wrapper with a corner facing you. Moisten edges with water. Place a spoonful of the cheeseburger filling in the center.
- Fold the bottom corner over the filling, tucking it in gently. Fold in the sides, then roll tightly away from you. Seal edges with water to prevent leaking.
- Heat oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Carefully add the eggrolls and fry for 2-3 minutes on each side until golden brown and crispy.
- Remove fried eggrolls and place on a plate lined with paper towels. Allow to cool for a couple of minutes before serving.
