  1. Prep Tofu: Drain and press the extra-firm tofu for at least 10 minutes to eliminate excess moisture.
  2. Tear Tofu: Tear the tofu into uneven chunks to expose more surface area.
  3. Make Marinade: In a mixing bowl, combine olive oil, coconut aminos, apple cider vinegar, Cajun seasoning, smoked paprika, garlic powder, black pepper, and maple syrup.
  4. Marinate Tofu: Add the torn tofu to the marinade, tossing to ensure even coating. Let sit for 10-15 minutes.
  5. Cook in Oven: Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C), place marinated tofu on a lined baking sheet, and bake for 30 minutes.
  6. Cook in Air Fryer: Set air fryer to 375°F (190°C) and fry marinated tofu for about 15 minutes, shaking halfway through.
  7. Cook on Skillet: Heat oil in a skillet over medium-high heat, add marinated tofu, and cook for about 7 minutes, flipping until golden.
  8. Serve: Cool slightly and serve warm with dipping sauce.
