For the Noodles

For the Sauce
  • 2 tablespoons Butter Adds richness; can be replaced with olive oil for a dairy-free option.
  • 3 cloves Garlic Essential for an aromatic base.
  • 1 medium Shallot Brings a subtle sweetness; feel free to swap for onions.
  • 3 tablespoons Gochujang (Korean chili paste) The star of the show for that signature heat.
  • 1 cup Heavy Cream Creates the creamy texture; coconut milk works well for a lighter option.
  • 2 tablespoons Soy Sauce Adds umami and saltiness; opt for low-sodium soy sauce.
  • 1 dash Gochugaru (Korean red pepper flakes) Boosts heat and adds a smoky undertone.
  • 1/4 cup Grated Parmesan Cheese Provides a savory finish; can be omitted.
  • 2 tablespoons Chopped Green Onion A fresh garnish that brightens each bite.
