- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a medium skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef and diced onion, stirring frequently until browned, about 5-7 minutes. Add garlic during the last minute if desired. Drain excess fat.
- Spread the beef mixture evenly into a greased 9-inch pie dish. Optionally mix in ketchup or mustard.
- Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese over the seasoned beef.
- In a separate bowl, whisk eggs, milk, and Bisquick until smooth.
- Pour the egg mixture over the layered beef and cheese. Bake for 25-30 minutes until the top is golden and the center is firm.
- Allow to cool for a few minutes before garnishing with pickles, tomatoes, mustard, and ketchup.
