  • 2 cups Cheddar Cheese Shredded sharp cheddar recommended.

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Boil salted water in a large pot and add egg noodles. Cook for 6-8 minutes until al dente, then drain.
  2. In a large skillet, brown the ground beef over medium-high heat for 5-7 minutes. Drain excess fat.
  3. Add chopped yellow onion and minced garlic to the beef; sauté for 3-4 minutes until the onion is translucent.
  4. Stir tomato sauce, Italian seasoning, salt, and black pepper into the skillet. Simmer over low heat for 5-7 minutes.
  5. In a greased 9x13 baking dish, mix cooked egg noodles with the beef mixture, coating noodles well.
  6. Top the casserole with shredded cheddar cheese evenly before baking.
  7. Bake uncovered in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  8. Allow to rest for 5 minutes, then garnish with fresh parsley and serve.
