Preparation

  7. In another bowl, beat cream cheese and sugar until smooth. Add egg and vanilla, mixing until creamy.
  8. Pour the cheesecake mixture over the brownie layer evenly.
  9. Dollop cherry pie filling on top and swirl gently to create marbled patterns.
  10. Bake for 30 minutes, until the edges are set and the center is slightly jiggly.
  11. Let cool at room temperature, then refrigerate for at least 2 hours before slicing.
