- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and prepare a baking sheet or a loaf pan with nonstick spray.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, eggs, and milk. Add onion, garlic, Worcestershire sauce, tomato paste, salt, pepper, oregano, and basil. Mix until just combined.
- Shape half of the meat mixture into a loaf and create a trench down the center, filling it with mozzarella. Cover with remaining meat mixture.
- In a small bowl, whisk together ketchup, brown sugar, and balsamic vinegar. Brush the glaze over the top of the meatloaf.
- Bake for 50 to 60 minutes, until the internal temperature reads 160°F (70°C). If browning too quickly, tent with foil.
- Let the meatloaf rest for 10 minutes before slicing and serving.
