Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a loaf pan with parchment paper or foil for easy cleanup.
  2. Sauté diced onion, bell pepper, and celery in a skillet over medium heat for 7–8 minutes until tender. Add minced garlic and cook for another minute.
  3. In a large bowl, combine ground beef, beaten eggs, milk, and crushed saltines. Add Worcestershire sauce, hot sauce, Cajun seasoning, smoked paprika, cayenne, salt, and black pepper. Fold in the cooled vegetable mixture.
  4. Shape the meat mixture into a loaf and place it in the prepared loaf pan. Pat it down gently.
  5. Bake uncovered for 40 minutes in the preheated oven.
  6. Whisk together the glaze ingredients in a small bowl.
  7. After 40 minutes, brush the glaze generously over the meatloaf and return it to the oven for another 20–25 minutes.
  8. Let the meatloaf rest for 10 minutes before slicing and serving.
