Preparation Steps
- Preheat your oven to 200°C (390°F) and grease your baking dish with oil.
- Combine fresh cranberries, maple syrup, and water in a medium pot. Add a pinch of salt and simmer over medium heat.
- After 3-5 minutes, mash the softened cranberries with a fork and continue simmering for 5 minutes until thickened.
- Place the salmon skin-side down in the baking dish and cover with cranberry sauce.
- Bake the salmon for approximately 20 minutes until it flakes easily and reaches 62°C (145°F).
- Let the salmon rest for a few minutes before serving with cranberry sauce.
